After Wildfrost, it’s their third major title on mobile, giving you a chance to wage war in Aurania. What’s happening in Wargroove 2: Pocket Edition? The story picks up three years after Queen Mercia and her allies restored peace to Aurania. A foreign faction has begun digging into forbidden technologies, threatening to tear the world apart again. The game features three intertwining storylines. Each of them has new alliances, revenge plots, and tough moral choices for you. The roster has expanded, too, now boasting over 20 commanders across six warring factions. Among the newcomers are the curious mouse-folk of the Faahri Republic. It’s an academic nation that compensates for its lack of combat experience with crystal-powered tech and strategic brilliance. Commanders Lytra, Pistil, and Rhomb represent the Faahri faction. Every commander’s ultimate move, Groove, has been reworked with a new tiered system. It lets you supercharge it for devastating results when the timing’s right. Health, gold, and surviving units carry over from one skirmish to the next. You can also use the built-in editor to design your own maps, cutscenes, and campaigns with adjustable rules. Multiplayer is a big part of the game. Local matches use a simple hot seat setup where players pass the device back and forth. Meanwhile, online battles support up to four players with cross-platform play between different versions of Wargroove 2.
