A whole new world awaits you, or at least quite a lot of spooky parkland. If you want to get through it in one piece, here’s our Roblox Doors Outdoors guide. Doors is newly updated on Roblox. Roblox Doors Outdoors Guide How To Get To The Outdoors The Outdoors is currently free to access from the Lobby up until August 25th. If you want to play, just hit the Play button in the lobby, and select ‘The Outdoors’ to set up a game. Then decide how many players you want, and bring your friends in if you need to. After August the 25th to reach the Outdoors you’ll have to unlock the area by finding the entrance in The Hotel. (Or you can unlock it for 10 Stardust.) What’s Different About The Outdoors? The Roblox Doors Outdoors is a little different from the other floors so far. There are a few things you should keep in mind before starting, even if you don’t read anything else, make sure to take these in. Most regular entities aren’t out here. Rush? Not here. Two ways out? It’s not Dupe trying to trick you. Seek? Well, he’s theoretically not here but… well we can explain that later. You can hide indefinitely. Hide isn’t present in The Outdoors, so you can huddle in a closet for as long as you like. The only penalty is annoying your fellow players. Not all entities in The Outdoors are hostile. Some can even be helpful, as long as you don’t upset them. It’s easier to get lost. Paths branch out more widely, and it’s easy to get turned around and lose your way. Look for signposts. Entities are sometimes based on timing, rather than room numbers. The Outdoors lacks strict ‘rooms’ in the way the classic floors do, with the transition from area to area a bit less clear. For this reason, some entities like Surge are timed rather than tied to doors/gates opening. Entities The new area brings new entities, and brings back a few old favorites… well, not favorites exactly. Who enjoys stepping on a Snare? New Entities These are completely new with the update. Groundskeeper This guy might look creepy but he’s actually pretty chill. Don’t step on the grass and he’ll leave you alone. He might even help you out if you’re attacked by some enemies. Mandrake This plant creatures pop out of the ground and start screaming. Pick them up and replant them before the noise becomes fatal. Surge Forks of lightning in the sky signal the arrival of Surge, an electric monstrosity. Hide in a closet or get inside the building so you don’t get fried. Monument A horrible spider-like entity that disguises itself as a garden ornament. Look out for decorations that seem to change places when you’re not looking. Bramble A horrible plant monster that plays Red Light Green Light, with your life on the line. Eyestalk Seek, but tree. Returning Entities These entities have appeared before, and they’re back to menace you in The Outdoors, too. Snare These are easily hidden patches full of holes that lie on the floor. If you step on one, they’ll extend out grabby thorns, which do some damage, but possibly more dangerously, lock you in place for a while. Not great if something is after you. Glitch More of a function than a danger in itself, Glitch will drop you in a more recent area if a section you’re in unloads, or if you er, glitch into an area you shouldn’t be. (Or if you’re cheating, of course.) Items There’s a new item or two introduced with the update. Petals These glowing flower petals are found hidden around the garden. Wonder what they’re used for? Lotus Trade 8 Petals to the NPC Grampy, found at The Mill, to get a Lotus. You can plant this item somewhere in The Outdoors.
