Candy Crush is now bringing its confectionaries out of the mobile and onto your kitchen. Well, not directly, but at least, it’s trying to guide you in the right direction to bring them into your kitchen. Tasty: The Official Candy Crush Desserts Book is the latest creative extension of the Candy Crush universe. The recipe book is now out and is the first officially licensed cookbook from King. Published by Insight Editions, it turns the game’s sugary visuals into more than 50 real-life recipes. They’re actually inspired by Candy Crush Saga’s colourful world. Even in gaming, the best rewards sometimes come out of the oven! Each section of the book brings a different region of the Candy Kingdom to life. There’s the decadent desserts of Chocolate Cliffs, the playful creations of Bubblegum Bridge and the citrusy delights of Lemonade Lake. You’ll also spot characters like Tiffi, Mr. Toffee, and Yeti popping up across the pages. The book uses bright visuals and simple step-by-step instructions, making it approachable for everyone. With the string of upcoming holidays, the release timing couldn’t be better. Tasty: The Official Candy Crush Desserts Bookincludes a QR code that unlocks 30 Gold Bars in Candy Crush Saga. The offer is valid until December 31st, 2027, or until 25,000 redemptions are used up. You can redeem the codes through a King account or Facebook login. The book has been authored by an experienced team of writers and food stylists. There’s Lisa Kingsley, who is no stranger to pop culture cookbooks. She has previously coauthored Cooking with Magic: A Century of Recipes Inspired by Disney’s Animated Films and The Powerpuff Girls: The Official Cookbook. Zack Keller, the current Narrative Director at King for Candy Crush Saga, is a coauthor of the book. The team also includes Jennifer Peterson and Tricia Bergman. Peterson is a food stylist with credits on cookbooks like Star Wars Galactic Baking and Emily in Paris: The Official Cookbook. Bergman is a veteran food scientist and recipe developer.
