Starts with one Bandage. Necromancer Can collect souls and resurrect dead cultists to fight for them. Starts with a Cultist Staff. Beastmaster Can summon tamed wolves with 3 Steaks. Starts with 3 Steaks and a Good Taming Flute. New Locations Bank Contains a lot of Mossy Coins, and has a chest inside the vault. Abandoned Animal Shelter You can find Taming Flutes here. Inventory Overhaul October 4th – Taming Update Taming Flutes These are found at the Taming Tent, and you can use them to tame different species of animals. Tames animals will take on a different appearance to make things less visually confusing. Upgrade Building Contains a workbench for upgrading the Fishing Rod and the Taming Flute. New Class The Zookeeper September 27th – Meteor Showers Update Meteors These may fall from the sky into spots in the forest. You can find rare metals at the crash sites. The crash sites are guarded by dangerous Meteor Crabs. Gold Trim Trim axes and armor for better stats. New Entity Meteor Crab New Items Armor Trim Axe Trim Gold Shard Meteor Shard Obisidiron Ore Obsidiron Body Obsidiron Boots Obsidiron Hammer Obsidiron Ingot Scalding Obsidiron Ingot New Badges Astrogeology Astrophysics Exogenology Seismology September 20th – Volcano Update Part II New Entity The Ram replaces The Owl as an occasional spawn at night. (The Deer will not spawn on nights where the The Ram Spawns). The Ram will charge at players, and will walk into lit up areas. New Boss Cultist King is summoned by placing 4 Cultist Gems at the base in the Volcano area. May drop his mace on defeat. New Weapon Infernal Crossbow New Class Fire Bandit – Starts with an Inferno Crossbow and a Wildfire Potion. Comes with a chance at some Fire-based perks through Mastery. New Volcano Biome Structures September 13th – Volcano Update Volcano Biome New area with new structures. Sacrifice offerings to the volcano. New Weapons Inferno Sword Crossbow New Items Infernal Sack Wildfire Person New Chest Infernal Chest New Entities Scorpion Mega Cultist Limited Time Badges – Unlock these before the time runs out. Resourcefulness Pest Control Metaworking Volcanology September 6th – Decorators Update Expanded Furniture System Over 60 new furniture items to customize your home base. New NPC -Furniture Trader Sells furniture. This NPC has a rotating stock, so different items may be available for sale at different times. Try to snap things up when you see them. Paintbrush Tool Writeable Signs to leave messages, or just let everyone know which part of the base is yours. Grid Snapping for easier placement. (You can also do freeform if you prefer.) August 30th – Talents Update Talent System Improve your class’ abilities and further customize your build. New Armor Poison Frog Armor New Weapons Poison Spear Poison Darts New Item Frog Boots New Class Poison Master August 15th – Fishing Update New Feature – Fishing Fishing You can now fish to get edible fish to help combat hunger. You can upgrade your rod at the Fishing New Classes Fisherman Pyromaniac New Feature Lakes Weekly Quests 4 New Badges New Furniture Items New Melee Weapon August 8th – Owl Update New Monster The Owl The Owl replaces The Deer on certain nights, heralded by the message ‘The Owl has woken up’. If the Owl lands, standing still will prevent it from turning aggressive. New Workshop Tool Mammoth Helmet This is the current best piece of Warm Clothing in the game. It’s crafted with two Mammoth Tusks and two Wolf Pelts. New Classes Base Defender Berserker Bird Watcher NPC Lets you make purchases with Owl Feathers. August 1st – Snow Biome Update Snow Biome A new Biome where you must find a way to deal with the deadly cold to survive.
